Database Administrator

About the job

• Contribute to tasks in the areas of database performance monitoring, disaster recovery and performance tuning, back-up and recovery and upgrades: (Daily, weekly and monthly health checks procedures).
• Contribute to Database Administration tasks: apply/request upgrades and patches to databases, backup, restore and recover databases, create and maintain application tables, indexes, views, script procedures, export/import (following authorized requests), database tuning, etc…
• Contribute to the Development and maintenance of database administration procedures and operations to achieve optimum databases availability.
• Contribute to the development and setup specific interfaces, utilities and enquiries.
• Work on any project upon request.

Education and Experience:

• MS/BS in Engineering or Computer Science
• 0-3 years in Technology especially in Database Administration (SQL and/or Oracle)
