About the Role

SAP Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations France is the business unit responsible for delivering SAP's sovereign cloud portfolio to French regulated industries. Operating under French sovereignty requirements, the unit maintains SecNumCloud qualification and ensures full compliance with ANSSI directives and French regulatory obligations.

As LISO, you are the primary security and compliance authority for the French sovereign perimeter. You own the relationship with ANSSI, drive SecNumCloud qualification maintenance, and ensure all security controls meet both SAP global standards and France-specific regulatory requirements. This is a high-accountability role operating at the intersection of technical security, regulatory compliance, and institutional stakeholder management.

What you'll bring:

Required Qualifications

• SecNumCloud referential mastery — deep knowledge of ANSSI's qualification scheme (v3.2+), its 197 controls, and the qualification dossier process

• French language proficiency — written and spoken; qualification dossier and ANSSI exchanges are conducted in French

• ANSSI process familiarity — direct experience with PASSI audit methodology, ANSSI evidence expectations, and qualification lifecycle (initial, surveillance, renewal)

• French regulatory knowledge — LPM, NIS2 French transposition, CNIL/RGPD enforcement; understanding of how these interact with SecNumCloud obligations

• Eligibility for French security clearance (habilitation) — required given the potentially classified nature of operations; candidate must be willing to undergo the process

• 5-7 years in Information Security and Compliance within a SaaS or IaaS environment

• Multi-framework audit track record — hands-on audit experience, not only implementation (ISO 27001 Lead Auditor level or equivalent)

Preferred

• Experience working directly with PASSI-accredited audit firms

• ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification

• Knowledge of HDS (Hébergeur de Données de Santé) if health-sector customers are in scope

• Familiarity with EUCS (EU Cloud Scheme) High level and its alignment with SecNumCloud

• Experience with C5 or BSI frameworks for multi-framework control mapping across SAP's European sovereign portfolio

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT Security related field

• System and cloud infrastructure technical skills (IaaS/SaaS architecture, HSM, hypervisor isolation)

What you'll build:

• Own the SecNumCloud qualification lifecycle: control implementation, evidence collection, PASSI audit coordination, and ANSSI dossier management

• Act as primary interface with ANSSI and PASSI-accredited auditors for all qualification and surveillance activities

• Ensure French-specific security controls (sovereignty, personnel vetting, supply chain, incident reporting) are implemented and continuously maintained by the operations team

• Report to and support the SAP Sovereign Cloud Regional Information Security Officer (RISO), translating global SAP security policies into France-compliant controls

• Lead risk assessments and risk treatment plans under SecNumCloud and applicable French regulatory frameworks (LPM, NIS2-FR)

• Drive vulnerability management in collaboration with security engineers: scan analysis, remediation tracking, security tooling implementation

• Develop and maintain all security documentation required for qualification and regulatory audits — in French where required by ANSSI

• Monitor the French regulatory landscape (ANSSI directives, CNIL/RGPD enforcement, LPM obligations) and translate changes into actionable control updates

SecNumCloud imposes requirements beyond standard ISO 27001 or SOC2 in several critical areas:

• Data sovereignty: physical access and data processing confined to French territory; HSM-based key management with no foreign key escrow

• Personnel security: production system operators subject to ANSSI vetting; non-EU nationals require explicit derogation

• Supply chain control: all sub processors subject to ANSSI review; non-EU sub processors require derogation approval

• Incident reporting: mandatory ANSSI notification within defined SLA, separate from CNIL breach notification obligations

• Audit cadence: annual PASSI surveillance audits; full qualification renewal every three years

This context defines the operating reality of the role — candidates without prior exposure to this regulatory environment should expect a 6–9-month ramp before operating autonomously.
