As a Senior Manager / Director for AI Technology, you will play a key leadership role in defining PwC’s AI technology and development capabilities, helping clients move from experimentation to industrialized, scalable AI adoption and build trust in AI systems clients are using.

About the team

Our AI team brings together experts across the end-to-end data and AI lifecycle – from AI strategy and AI governance to engineering, development, and production deployment. The team combines deep expertise in data platforms, AI and ML development, computer vision, and even AI in industrial environments, working in a flat, collaborative setup with a strong international exposure across the Czech Republic and the wider EMEA/CEE region.

About your manager

Tomas as a Partner in PwC leads the teams focused on digital transformation – namely AI Trust, Document Automation and Data Governance. Tomas is passionate about team vision and delivering high services to our internal and external clients. He enjoys all outdoor sport activities, in particular cycling and cross-country skiing.

Job description & summary

As a senior leader within PwC's AI practice in the Czech Republic, you will be responsible for shaping and scaling PwC's AI technology, engineering, and development capabilities. You will work with clients across industries to design, build, and deploy advanced AI solutions, while leading multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects or AI governance specialists.

You will:

• Define and drive the strategic direction for AI technology, development, and AI governance services within PwC.
• Design and lead delivery of end-to-end AI solutions, from data engineering and model development to deployment and operation in production environments.
• Act as a senior advisor to executives and technology leaders on AI architectures, platforms, delivery models and governance frameworks.
• Contribute to PwC's market presence through thought leadership, demonstrations, and executive-level discussions focused on AI technology, AI Trust and value creation.

What matters to us

• Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in AI engineering, data science, advanced analytics, or AI technology leadership, ideally in consulting, industry, or large-scale digital programmes.
• Strong hands-on or architectural experience with AI and ML development, data engineering, and deployment of AI solutions into production.
• Experience with industrialized AI use cases, such as computer vision, predictive analytics, automation, or AI-enabled operations.
• Strong understanding of modern AI technology stacks, platforms, and operating models (e.g. cloud, MLOps, scalable data platforms).
• Commercial mindset, including experience supporting business development, shaping offerings, and growing client relationships.
• Professional fluency in English and Czech.
